((op here. i’m sorry i never update! i’ve just been hella busy with school and everything. it’s very hard to bust out my tablet nowadays, but once the summer hits i should have time to update again.

Neuro fans and peeps interested in the series-news
I went to a Viz Media panel with my friend today at Otakon
My friend asked the Viz representative about getting the MTTN manga licensed and published in English, or maybe even a dub (I could do without a dub, though a dub would mean merchandize)
The rep said they had a meeting recently to assess whether Neuro was popular enough to pursue
I think it’s easily popular enough, or would become popular. They streamed it last night at Otakon and it was well recieved. My friends and I cosplayed the characters this weekend as well, and were recognized over and over again. I called Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro a Krabby Patty series: once you’ve seen it, you can’t hate it.
Here’s what needs to happen if this little anime has a chance:
Viz needs to see more people watching it online (hulu mainly)
I doubt it could rival the big shows, though I think this is one series that deserves to grow.
And that “big announcement” from Viz was about their 25th anniversary (I believe). They’re having some “greatest heroes of anime” revival thing going on.
I’m glad someone went to the panel and asked them about Neuro. I wanted to, but I had schedule conflicts. Rebloggin for signal boost because everyone needs to watch and/or rewatch Neuro.
